This year we had over 200
participants!! WISCAP appreciates everyone that supported this conference.
At our opening session Tim Smeeding, Director of

Institute for Research on Poverty, gave an excellent
presentation titled
"Our challenge: How much
Poverty? How Bad is it? What is changing? How should
we change the measure".

WISCAP was honored to have Secretary Reggie
Bicha, WI Department of Children and
Families, speak about the "Building Bridges to Family
Economic Success' summit. Over 300 community and
state leaders gathered in Milwaukee on May 4 and 5
to attend this excellent summit.
